How much is the new weight loss pill?

I've been trying to lose weight for a while now and heard about some new weight loss pills on a health forum. Just curious, how much do these newer medications generally cost in India? Trying to see if it's even an option.

Honestly, those new clinical weight loss drugs (like Semaglutide derivatives) can cost upwards of 10,000 to 20,000 a month. In my experience, no pill can replace a consistent calorie deficit and daily movement. Better to invest that cash in clean, whole foods and a good pair of walking shoes.

I totally get it, struggling with weight is so exhausting and it is tempting to look for quick solutions. The new FDA-approved weight loss injections and pills can be extremely expensive, costing thousands of rupees per month in India. Please be gentle on yourself and consult a doctor before trying anything.

The new obesity medications are quite costly in India as they are mostly imported. Standard prescription pills like Orlistat are cheaper, around 400-600 per strip, but they come with side effects. Always discuss with an endocrinologist first rather than buying them over the counter.

I saw those viral weight loss pills online too, but my biology professor told us they are crazy expensive and not worth the hype. Some of them cost a huge chunk of pocket money and have weird side effects. Better to just stick to normal home food and jogging!

The latest anti-obesity medications, especially GLP-1 agonists, are highly regulated and can range from 15,000 to 30,000 rupees monthly depending on the brand. These are medical prescriptions for clinical obesity, not cosmetic weight loss. A comprehensive consultation with an endocrinologist is absolutely necessary before considering them.
