How much butter per day for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and I've heard conflicting things about butter. Some say it's bad, others say a little bit is okay. So, if I'm trying to cut down, how much butter can I safely have in a day without it affecting my weight loss goals?

A small dollop of homemade white butter (makhan) is actually good for health, but if you are aiming for weight loss, keep it under 1 teaspoon a day. However, if you are experiencing sudden, extreme weight gain or severe fatigue, don't just rely on diet changes; go get your thyroid and sugar checked by a doctor.

I used to eat lots of butter on a keto diet thinking it is healthy for weight loss, ignoring my rising chest discomfort and fatigue. It turned out my cholesterol shot up dangerously and I had a major blockage. Please get a proper lipid profile test done and consult a cardiologist before starting any high-fat diet.

You don't have to completely ban butter! 🧈 Having about half a teaspoon of butter occasionally on your toast is perfectly fine as long as you're burning those calories. Just stay active and enjoy your meals happily! 😊

Bro, butter is super high in calories, like 100 calories per tablespoon! If you are trying to lose weight, you should restrict it to maybe 5 grams max, or better yet, avoid it and use a tiny bit of olive oil or ghee. Track your daily calorie limit properly.

Our traditional food always included a little pure butter or ghee, which nourishes the body and soul. For weight loss, just use it in very small, mindful quantities with a positive mind. Take good care of your health and stay blessed.

My dietician explained that saturated fats like butter should make up less than 10% of our daily caloric intake. For weight loss, she advised me to limit salted butter to a maximum of 5-10 grams per day and focus more on unsaturated fats like nuts and seeds. It is best to get a customized fat allowance based on your lipid levels.

I get so anxious reading about saturated fats clogging arteries, but then some keto diets say butter is good for weight loss. It is so confusing! To be safe, I only use a tiny scrape of butter (less than half a teaspoon) just for taste. Please ask a proper dietician so you don't stress like me!
