How many steps a day for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and my trainer mentioned tracking steps. I'm just curious, what's a good target for how many steps a day for weight loss?

Walking is a great way to start your weight loss journey. Any increase in activity helps, just try to be consistent.

Generally, more steps mean more calories burned, which can help with weight loss. Try to increase your daily steps gradually. If you have underlying health issues, always best to check with a doctor before starting any new routine.

Haan, walking is fantastic! While 10,000 steps is a common goal, even 7000-8000 steps consistently can make a big difference, especially if you combine it with a balanced diet. Start small and build up, that's what works for most people.

Walking is a beautiful practice, for both body and mind. Don't focus too much on a number, but on being active and feeling good. A calm mind and a moving body will help you achieve your goals naturally. Be kind to yourself.

With PCOS, weight loss can be tricky, so any movement is good. I aim for at least 6,000-8,000 steps. Don't stress too much about hitting a specific high number right away, just increase it gradually and listen to your body. Also, remember diet plays a huge role.

Many studies point to around 7,000 to 10,000 steps per day as a good target for general health and weight management. But listen to your body, don't push too hard initially. Consistency is key, not just the number.

For weight loss, steps are good, but it's more about overall activity and calorie deficit. Aim for around 8k-10k steps, but also pay attention to your diet. That's where the real magic happens for shedding kgs.
