How long should women sleep?

I always feel tired, even after sleeping for what feels like a decent amount. My husband says I should sleep more. On average, how many hours of sleep should women get each night?

For good sleep, consistency is key, especially if you have health conditions like diabetes. Irregular sleep can affect blood sugar levels, so I try to stick to 7-8 hours nightly. Always check with your doctor how your sleep patterns might impact your overall health plan.

Look, ideally, 7-9 hours is what they say. But honestly, it's more about quality than just quantity. I've found that having a consistent bedtime and waking time, even on weekends, makes a huge difference. Don't stress too much if one night is less, just try to get back on track.

Sleep requirements can change, and sometimes thyroid issues can affect your sleep quality. I've found that proper sleep, usually around 7-9 hours, really helps manage my energy. If you're consistently tired even after sleeping, it's worth talking to your endocrinologist and getting your thyroid levels checked.

Uhh, as a college student, 8 hours sounds like a dream, lol. But yeah, trying to get 7-8 hours feels the best. Less than that and I'm super groggy for classes. It's tough sometimes with studies but I try to catch up on weekends.

Most health guidelines suggest 7-9 hours for adult women. It's not a strict rule though, some people feel great with 7, others need closer to 9. The best way to know is how you feel throughout the day – are you energetic or feeling run down?

I always worry if I'm getting enough sleep. I aim for 8 hours but sometimes only manage 6 or 7, then I feel so tired the next day. Does anyone else feel like they need more sleep than what's 'normal' to actually feel rested?

I totally get why you're asking this! It feels like there's always so much to do. General recommendation for adult women is 7-9 hours, but don't beat yourself up if you can't hit it every night. Just try to make up for it and maintain a peaceful sleep environment.

For women, generally 7-8 hours is considered good sleep. My wife tries to sleep by 10-11 PM and wake up around 6 AM. She says it makes a big difference to her energy for managing ghar ka kaam and kids. Simple routine helps a lot.
