How frequent do you pee in early pregnancy?

I think I might be pregnant, and I've noticed I'm peeing a lot more than usual. Is this normal? How frequent do you typically pee in early pregnancy?

My wife was practically living in the bathroom during her first trimester! It felt like she would take two sips of water and run to pee immediately. Don't worry, it is totally normal, just make sure you rent a house with at least two bathrooms!

Yaar, in early pregnancy, the urge is actually crazy because of all those hormonal changes. I felt like peeing every 30-40 minutes in the first few weeks itself. Just don't stop drinking water to avoid going to the loo, dehydration is not good.

I just delivered last month and remember how frequent it was in the first two months. I was waking up 3-4 times every single night just to use the washroom. It gets slightly better in the second trimester, so hang in there.

Frequent urination is normal, but please watch out for any burning sensation or pain while peeing. I once ignored a mild burning thinking it was just heat, and it turned into a severe kidney infection. Always get a routine urine test done to rule out any UTI.

Your body is undergoing a beautiful transformation and working hard to create a new life, so these changes are natural. Waking up often to pee can be tiring, but try to stay calm and positive. Take deep breaths and take care of your sleep whenever you can.

I kept worrying that my frequent peeing was a sign of gestational diabetes and got so anxious. Actually, it is mostly just the pregnancy hormone hCG increasing blood flow to your kidneys. Try not to stress too much, but do mention it to your doctor to ease your mind.

Oh, it is a constant cycle of drinking coconut water, peeing, and then craving spicy chaat! I felt the urge to go almost every hour in my early weeks. Just keep yourself hydrated with healthy fluids like nimbu paani.

My wife had to go to the toilet very frequently in her first month. My mother suggested some traditional cooling drinks, but we consulted our doctor first to ensure it was normal. The doctor reassured us that hormonal surges cause this, which gave us peace of mind.
