How early in pregnancy does morning sickness start?

I'm just a few weeks pregnant, and I've already started feeling quite sick in the mornings. I thought morning sickness usually starts a bit later, actually. How early can morning sickness actually begin for some women?

Expect it to begin by week 5 or 6. If you're planning, keep a budget ready for the routine blood tests and gynac visits that follow immediately.

Generally it starts around the 6th week of pregnancy. Keeping dry biscuits or rusks near the bed and eating one before getting up helps settle the stomach.

My wife had it starting week 6, and let me tell you, 'morning' sickness is a total lie because she was nauseous 24/7. Just bear with it, it gets better!

The nausea usually begins around the 6th week. Practicing very gentle deep breathing or Pranayama in a well-ventilated room helped me manage the early morning queasiness.

I totally get it, that constant feeling of throwing up can make you so miserable early on. It typically peaks between weeks 6 and 9, so please take proper rest.

I was so anxious when my nausea started suddenly at week 5 and made me feel so weak. It is a completely normal reaction to rising hormones, so don't let it panic you.
