How early does breast soreness start in pregnancy?

Lately, my breasts have been feeling quite tender and sore, which is unusual for me before my period. Could this be an early sign of pregnancy? When does breast soreness typically begin if one is pregnant?

For some, soreness starts as early as 1 to 2 weeks after conception due to rapid hormone changes. However, if you feel any unusual pain, lumps, or severe discomfort, please consult your doctor immediately.

That's correct, it usually starts very early, around 4 to 6 weeks. Wearing a comfortable, supportive cotton bra without underwires helps a lot during this phase.

I felt breast tenderness around the 4th week of pregnancy. Keeping a clean, low-sodium vegetarian diet helped me manage the overall bloating and water retention that makes the soreness feel worse.

Oh, breast soreness was literally my very first clue even before my period was late! It feels like PMS but much more intense, so don't stress too much, it's just your body prepping for the baby.

I totally get it, that heavy and tender feeling can be so uncomfortable and worrying early on. It usually kicks in around week 4 or 5 as estrogen levels shoot up, so hang in there.
