How early can you test for pregnancy test?

I've been feeling very nauseous in the mornings, and my period is a few days overdue, actually. I bought a home pregnancy test, but I'm not sure if it's still too early to use it for a reliable result. How soon can you reliably test for pregnancy?

Don't try those bizarre toothpaste or salt tests you see online, they are totally fake. The earliest you can do a scientific home urine test is the first day of your missed period. For 100% confirmation, visit a doctor.

We got a negative test at day 10 and panicked thinking it was a failed cycle. Tested again on day 15 and it was positive! Don't worry, sometimes it just takes a bit longer for the hormones to show up.

With my PCOS, my cycles are all over the place. I learned the hard way not to test too early as it just leads to heartbreak. I suggest waiting at least 14 days after intercourse before testing.

I tested 4 days before my period was due and got a negative, but I still feel super bloated. Did anyone else get a negative early and then a positive later? Should I test again?

It is always best to wait for a missed period before testing. Testing too early can give false assurance or unnecessary worry. If you feel unwell, go to a doctor for a proper blood test.

In my experience, testing 12 days after ovulation with a sensitive kit gave me a faint positive line. I waited another two days to confirm it, and the line became much darker.

Your body needs time to build the life energy. Wait at least 14 days after conception to test. Let your mind stay calm with simple meditation during this beautiful time of waiting.

We tried testing 8 days after sex and it was negative. Waited till day 14 and got a clear positive. Save your time and testing kits, wait at least two weeks before checking.

I kept checking online forums and got so anxious. They say you can test 10 days post-ovulation, but is that really accurate? I think waiting till day 14 is safer to avoid all the stress.

No need to buy those fancy high-end digital tests. Just buy two simple strip tests from the chemist. Test once on the day of missed period, and if doubtful, repeat after 3 days with morning urine.
