How early can you get a positive pregnancy test?

My period is supposed to start in three days, and I'm really hoping for a positive result this month. I've heard some tests can show results very early. How early can you realistically get a positive pregnancy test?

According to my partner's tracking app, you can get a faint positive about 10-11 days after ovulation. But the app recommended waiting for day 14 for a highly accurate result.

From what I have read, some super sensitive early detection tests can show a positive 4 to 5 days before your period is due, but they can be tricky.

I got a super faint positive 3 days before my missed period and I am so anxious that it might be a false alarm. Did anyone else get a very light line early on?

For the best and most reliable result, wait until the day of your missed period. Early tests often give faint lines that just cause unnecessary worry.

You can get a positive about 12 days post-ovulation. If you have thyroid issues like me, book a doctor's appointment immediately after the positive to check your TSH levels.

I got a negative at 10 days and panicked, but got a clear positive on day 14. Don't worry if it is negative early on; just give it a few more days.

My wife got her positive test on the day of her missed period, right when she suddenly demanded spicy chaat for breakfast! Wait for the missed day for a clear result.
