How early can you feel nauseous in pregnancy?

For the past few mornings, I've been feeling a bit pukish, especially after breakfast. My period is still a week away, so I'm confused. Is it possible to feel nauseous this early in pregnancy, or is it something else?

My doctor explained that nausea usually starts around the 6th week when hCG levels peak. However, some women with sensitive systems can start feeling nauseous around week 4 or 5.

I was reading that for about 70% of women, nausea starts by the 6th week of pregnancy, though a small percentage can feel it earlier due to rapid hormone changes.

My partner started complaining about feeling sick in the mornings around week 5, even before we did the home test. It was pretty sudden.

Look, it is common to feel it around the 5th or 6th week. Don't stress too much about the exact day, just keep some light biscuits near your bed.

I started feeling sick at week 4 and immediately got anxious thinking it was too early or something was wrong. But everyone assured me early nausea is totally normal, so try not to worry.
