How early can i take a pregnancy test after ovulation?

We're actively trying to conceive this month, and I've been tracking my ovulation dates. I'm so eager to find out; what's the earliest I can take a pregnancy test after ovulation for accurate results?

I am currently 9 days past ovulation and tempted to test, but I'm scared of seeing a negative. Did anyone else test at 9 or 10 days and get a positive, or should I just force myself to wait longer?

While highly sensitive tests can work from 10 days post-ovulation, waiting for 14 days is best. Keeping active with gentle daily walks can help manage the restlessness of this waiting period.

Testing before 12 days past ovulation is mostly inefficient because the hormone levels are too low to detect. Save yourself the time and effort by waiting until day 14 or the day of your missed period.

You can technically test starting 10 days after ovulation, but results are much more accurate around day 14. Keep focused on your clean nutrition and standard workouts to keep your mind occupied until then.

My mother always tells us to wait patiently for a full week after the missed period date before checking. However, our family doctor says a test 14 days after ovulation is scientifically quite accurate, so that is a good middle ground.
