How common is spotting in early pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and have noticed some slight spotting over the last few days. My friends say it can be normal, but I'm still quite anxious. I want to know how common this actually is for women in early pregnancy.

Hey, I experienced this too in my eighth week and was so scared! My doctor told me it is actually super common, happening in about 25% of healthy pregnancies. Just take some rest and definitely give your gynecologist a quick call to be safe.

While many women say it is common, please treat this with caution. I had some spotting early on which unfortunately led to complications because I delayed visiting the hospital. If you see any spotting, please contact your doctor immediately to ensure the baby is safe.

I am quite new to all of this and reading about spotting is making me a bit nervous. Is it usually just a light pink color, or can it be darker too? If anyone could share what is normal, that would really help me.

Dealing with pregnancy concerns when you have hormonal issues like PCOS is always a bit nerve-wracking. Spotting is fairly common, but because every body reacts differently, it is best not to guess. Do mention it to your doctor at your next scan.

During my first pregnancy, I had light spotting and panicked, but my doctor reassured me it happens quite often. It is a common experience for many moms, but we must always play it safe. Just rest well and have your gynecologist do a quick check to give you peace of mind.
