Does weight loss improve cellulite?

I've always been a bit self-conscious about cellulite on my legs. I'm actively working on my weight and body composition. I'm hoping that if I lose enough weight, my cellulite will also improve. Does weight loss really make a difference in improving cellulite's appearance?

Yes, gentle weight loss along with daily yoga postures helps improve blood circulation. This naturally makes the skin appear firmer and reduces the appearance of dimples.

Losing body fat definitely helps, but you must pair it with lower body strength training. Building muscle under the skin is what actually smoothens out the cellulite look.

Don't stress too much about cellulite, almost every woman has it! Just eat healthy, walk a lot, and love your body the way it is.

It does help make it less visible as you lose fat. Just focus on your health, and the skin changes will follow.

At this age, my skin has its own plans anyway! Weight loss helps a bit, but don't expect baby-smooth skin; some dimples are just part of the package.

Losing weight will shrink fat cells, which directly improves cellulite. Just stay in a calorie deficit and do some resistance training for the best results.
