Does water aerobics help with weight loss?

My knees have been bothering me a bit, so high-impact exercises are difficult. A friend suggested I try water aerobics for weight loss, saying it's gentle on joints. Can water aerobics actually be an effective way to lose weight?

Yes, water aerobics is fantastic because water resistance burns a lot of calories while being very easy on your joints. It is especially great if you have knee pain or lower back issues. Just keep your sessions consistent, about 3-4 times a week.

It definitely helps as it is a great full-body workout. But remember, no matter how much you splash in the water, weight loss won't happen if you eat heavy meals afterward. Pair it with high-protein vegetarian foods like sprouts and paneer.

Yes, it is very effective and much better than running on a treadmill if you find gym workouts boring. Just find a local community pool that offers these classes, it is usually quite affordable and a very fun way to stay active.

I was so nervous before my first class thinking everyone would be super fit and I wouldn't be able to keep up. But it is actually very beginner-friendly and so much fun! I have lost 4 kgs in two months and my stamina has improved so much.

Simple baat hai, if you move your body, you will burn calories and lose weight. Water aerobics is a proper workout, don't think it is just playing in the pool. Do it with full effort and cut down on your oily samosas, you will see results.
