Does walking with a weighted vest help with weight loss?

Regular walking has been my routine for a few months now, but I feel like I've hit a plateau in my weight loss journey. I saw someone at the park walking with a weighted vest and it got me thinking. Can adding a weighted vest to my walks actually boost fat burning and help me lose more weight?

Haan na, it definitely burns more calories because of the extra weight. But thoda dhyan rakhna, if it's too heavy it can hurt your shoulders and lower back. Start with very light weight first, okay?

Actually, it works like a charm, yaar. It makes your simple walks way more intense. Just don't buy a super heavy vest right away, otherwise your knees will start paining.

Those weighted vests can be quite expensive online. Instead of spending so much money, you can just use a regular school backpack filled with a few heavy books or water bottles. It does the same job for free!

It does increase your calorie burn, but please be careful if you have any joint issues. Walking with extra weight puts more pressure on your knees and ankles. If you are a beginner, simple brisk walking is more than enough.

Bro, it's a solid way to level up your steps. I tried it last month and felt the burn in my calves immediately. Just don't run with it, keep it strictly to a steady walk.

Honestly, carrying my toddler around all day feels like walking with a weighted vest anyway! It's tiring but definitely burns calories. If you have the energy for a real vest, go for it.

My Apple Watch definitely showed a higher active calorie burn and elevated heart rate when I tracked walks with a 5kg vest. It's a great hack to break through weight loss plateaus if your joints are healthy.
