Does vibration help with weight loss?

Ads for vibration platforms and belts claiming weight loss and toning benefits are everywhere. It honestly sounds a bit too good to be true. Is there any actual scientific evidence supporting the idea that vibration helps with shedding kilos?

These modern machines sound fancy, but nothing compares to traditional physical labor. Going for a brisk walk in the morning and eating light home-cooked meals is much more beneficial. Don't waste money on these vibrating gadgets.

I tried a vibration plate once, but it did nothing for my weight. With my thyroid, I realized that regular hormone tests and proper doctor consultation are the only things that help manage weight, not these machines.

Let's be real, sitting on a vibrating machine or wearing a belt will not melt your fat. It might tone your muscles slightly or improve blood flow, but for real weight loss, you have to sweat and control your food. There are no shortcuts here.

No, vibration machines alone do not cause weight loss. You still need a calorie deficit and proper exercise.

In my fifty years, I have seen so many fitness trends come and go. These vibration belts were popular in our time too, but they never gave permanent results. A simple, consistent daily walk is still the best and safest way to lose weight.
