Does vaginal estrogen cause weight gain?

I recently started taking vaginal estrogen and have noticed my weight slowly increasing. I'm not sure if it's related to the medicine or something else. Is it common for vaginal estrogen to cause weight gain?

I tried drinking methi water and changing my diet first, but eventually had to use vaginal estrogen. It works locally and does not cause weight gain. Any weight changes during this phase are usually just due to hormonal changes of menopause itself.

My sister thought this cream was making her gain weight, but our family doctor reassured us. Vaginal estrogen has a very low dose that stays in the local tissues, so it doesn't cause weight gain. Trust your gynecologist's advice on this.

Since vaginal estrogen acts locally, it doesn't enter the systemic circulation in large amounts to cause weight gain. Still, watching your diet, limiting sugar, and staying active are key to managing weight during menopause.

Vaginal estrogen works locally and rarely affects overall weight. To keep your metabolism healthy and mind calm during this transitional phase, I highly recommend practicing daily pranayama and gentle stretching.

Honestly, my love for evening snacks is the real reason for my weight gain, not my local estrogen cream! The cream doesn't affect your whole body, so you can safely use it without worrying about extra kilos.

At the hospital where my wife gets her checkups, the senior doctor clearly explained that local estrogen is different from oral pills and doesn't lead to weight gain. I highly suggest visiting a good gynecologist to clear any such doubts.
