Does tuna help with weight loss?

I've started going to the gym and my trainer recommended I include more protein in my diet. I was thinking of adding tuna, but I also want to lose weight. Does tuna help with weight loss or should I opt for something else?

Yes, canned tuna in water is a lifesaver for busy weekdays because it is high in protein and very low in fat. It keeps you full for hours, making it much easier to stick to your daily calorie goals without cooking complex meals.

Tuna is indeed very good for weight loss because of the high protein, but don't eat it every single day because of the mercury levels in big fish. Eat a variety of foods like dal and paneer too, and take care of your health gently.

Look, tuna will help only if you aren't eating it with heavy mayonnaise. Keep the preparation simple, like a salad with olive oil and veggies, and you will definitely see results.

Lean proteins like tuna are great for metabolism. But if your weight is not budging despite a good diet, please get your thyroid levels checked first. No diet can show results if there is an underlying hormonal issue.

Tuna is actually super helpful for fat loss, yaar. It is almost pure protein, so it keeps your muscles intact while you burn fat. Just get the one canned in water, not oil, to save on unnecessary calories.
