Does the pink salt diet work for weight loss?

Struggling to lose weight for a while now, I keep hearing about different diets. A friend suggested looking into the 'pink salt diet'. Does anyone have experience with it, and does it actually work for weight loss?

Please be very careful with this. I tried a high-sodium pink salt water routine last year and ended up in the hospital with severe high blood pressure and dehydration. Don't trust these online trends; consult a proper doctor before trying any such diet.

Pink salt has some good trace minerals, but it is not a cure for weight loss. For natural weight control, eat lighter dinners and drink warm ginger tea. If you feel any sudden palpitations or dizziness from these diets, go to a clinic immediately.

Haan na, these fancy diets are just marketing tricks! Pink salt will not burn your stomach fat, ho na? It's much better to just reduce sugar and walk daily.

I would advise against it. Pink salt is often non-iodized, and if you have thyroid issues like me, lacking iodine can cause your TSH levels to shoot up, leading to more weight gain. Always discuss with your doctor and get your thyroid checked regularly.

Honestly, there is no shortcut to weight loss. Pink salt diet won't do anything if you are sitting at a desk for 9 hours. Save your money and just focus on a simple calorie deficit and portion control.
