Does the pink salt diet really work for weight loss?

My cousin keeps raving about this 'pink salt diet' and how she lost weight with it. I'm a bit skeptical, as it sounds like another fad. Does the pink salt diet really work, or is it just a marketing thing?

I understand how overwhelming it is when you're searching for a way to lose weight and see so many diets online. But please don't get anxious trying these extreme salt routines. Replacing white salt with pink salt is fine, but drinking excess salt water can actually mess up your blood pressure.

To be very honest, pink salt has the same chemical structure as regular salt, just with minor trace minerals. It does not burn fat or cause weight loss. In fact, drinking too much pink salt water can load your kidneys with unnecessary sodium.

Please be careful. Diets that promote heavy use of pink salt or salt-water fasting can lead to severe electrolyte imbalance and dehydration. If you have any history of hypertension or kidney issues, consult a doctor before changing your salt intake.

I have tried so many home remedies for weight loss over the years. Pink salt has some good minerals, but just changing your salt won't melt fat. Drinking warm water with lemon and honey in the morning works much better for digestion.

With my thyroid issue, I have to be very careful with salt because pink salt doesn't always have enough iodine like iodized white salt. Skipping iodized salt for a pink salt diet can worsen thyroid health. Please get your TSH checked before making such diet changes.

Salt is salt, whether pink or white. For real weight loss, focus on light satvik meals, drinking warm water, and regular practice of Surya Namaskar. These fad diets only bring imbalance to our system.

I tried using pink salt instead of regular salt for my meals for three months. Honestly, I didn't see any difference in my weight. It just tasted a bit different, but my weight stayed exactly the same.
