Does starving yourself cause weight loss?

For a while, I've been trying to shed some kilos, and my gym instructor told me eating less is key. If I basically starve myself, will it cause weight loss for sure? Or are there other things to consider?

It works for like three days, but it's just water weight. Then you get super weak, lose muscle, and gain it all back once you start eating normally.

Starving can seriously damage your internal organs and cause severe deficiencies. Please get your health checked by a general physician before trying any diet.

Instead of starving, just walk for 45 minutes daily and cut out processed sugar. It burns fat much faster than skipping meals ever will.

I was thinking of skipping dinner to lose weight fast. Does it really cause hair fall and skin problems like people say?

Our bodies are temples, we must nourish them, not starve them. Real well-being comes from eating pure, fresh food with a positive mind.

Forget starving, it just burns your muscle. Focus on a calorie deficit with high protein and hit the gym to get a toned body.

No, starving is not a healthy way to lose weight. Please take care of yourself and eat balanced meals.
