Does sparkling water help with weight loss?

I'm trying to cut down on sugary drinks and have heard that sparkling water can be a good substitute. Does sparkling water help with weight loss, or is it just a neutral drink? I'm curious if it has any actual benefits for shedding kgs.

Weight loss is a beautiful journey of balancing your body and mind with nature. Sparkling water doesn't have any magic properties to melt fat, but it can help you stay away from sweet drinks. Bless you, eat simple home-cooked food, and take care.

It definitely helps when you have major soda cravings while dieting! Substituting a sweet cola with unsweetened sparkling water saves you hundreds of calories. It keeps me full so I don't overeat my favorite snacks, so in a way, it works!

I was reading about this yesterday because I wanted to try a new diet plan. Apparently, the fizz just makes you feel full temporarily so you eat less, but it doesn't actually burn fat on its own. Has anyone here actually lost weight by switching to it?

Too tired to even think about gym today, but yes, if you drink sparkling water instead of your late-night sweet iced teas, you save calories. It won't make you slim overnight, but it keeps the soda monster away while I survive on 4 hours of sleep.

Honestly, sparkling water only helps if you are using it to quit sugary juices or Pepsi. I lost 3 kgs just by cutting out sodas and drinking sparkling water with lime instead. If you keep eating junk, only drinking this won't help at all.

I used to panic that carbonated water would ruin my metabolism and make weight loss impossible. But after talking to a dietitian, I realized it's totally safe and has zero calories. It won't magically make you lose weight, but it's a great substitute for cold drinks.
