Does rezdiffra cause weight loss?

My doctor has suggested Rezdiffra for my liver condition. I'm also trying to lose some weight, so I was curious if this medication has any impact on body weight. Does Rezdiffra cause weight loss as a side effect or benefit?

I am so tired from my night shifts that I forget to eat, but this new liver medicine did seem to cause some mild weight loss for my uncle. Honestly, I wish my coffee had that side effect! Just make sure to monitor it so you don't lose too much too fast.

Rezdiffra is prescribed for NASH and liver fibrosis, and yes, clinical trials showed some patients lost a bit of weight on it. But don't rely on a prescription drug for weight loss. You still need to lift weights and eat in a calorie deficit to build a healthy, lean body.

Wait, isn't that the new FDA-approved drug for fatty liver? I was reading about it for my biology presentation and yes, mild weight loss was listed as a common side effect in trials. Pretty cool, but definitely not something you take just to get slim!

It can cause some weight loss because it helps clear fat from the liver. Along with this medicine, I highly recommend drinking warm water with a bit of ginger and eating simple, non-oily food to support your liver recovery. Take care of your health naturally too.

At 50, my body refuses to lose weight even if I only breathe air, but my doctor mentioned this new liver medicine might cause some minor weight loss as a side effect. It is meant to treat liver fat, so losing some weight actually helps the liver heal. Just take it as prescribed!
