Does pooping help with weight loss?

Hi, I'm trying to lose some weight, and my friend was joking that the more you poop, the more weight you lose. I know it sounds silly, but I was wondering if there's any truth to this? Just curious if passing stools regularly makes any difference to the actual numbers on the scale.

I used to weigh myself daily and obsess over every small change, especially after using the bathroom. But honestly, it is just temporary waste weight leaving the body, not actual fat loss. Don't stress too much about the daily fluctuations on the scale.

It can make you feel a lot lighter and less bloated, which is nice. But it doesn't actually burn body fat. Just focus on eating well and drinking water.

Please be careful. If you are pooping excessively to lose weight or using laxatives often, it can severely damage your gut and cause dangerous electrolyte imbalances. If you have chronic diarrhea or digestive issues, please consult a physician instead of self-managing.

Listen, don't get caught up in these quick-fix ideas. Pooping is just your body's natural waste disposal, it has nothing to do with burning calories or fat. Eat your home-cooked meals, go for a walk, and let your body do its job naturally.
