Does pineapple juice help in weight loss?

Trying to shed some extra kilos for my sister's wedding. Someone told me pineapple juice can help. Is there any truth to this claim about pineapple juice and weight loss?

Drinking too much packaged or even fresh pineapple juice can spike your insulin levels and actually lead to weight gain due to high fructose. Before starting any extreme fruit juice diet, please get your fasting blood sugar and thyroid levels checked to ensure it is safe for you.

Listen, juice of any fruit actually removes all the fiber and leaves behind mostly sugar. If you want to lose weight, eat the whole fruit instead of drinking juice, and cut down on external sugar. There are no shortcuts, you have to eat balanced meals.

Pineapple has bromelain which helps with digestion, but juice alone will not help you lose weight. A balanced lifestyle, mindful eating, and daily practice of Surya Namaskar will bring lasting changes. Listen to your body and consume everything in moderation.

I used to drink pineapple juice every morning thinking it would burn fat, but it actually made my acidity so much worse and I didn't lose any weight. I was so worried about my health back then. Please be careful with your stomach and don't drink it on an empty stomach.

Absolutely not. Pineapple juice is packed with sugar and calories without any of the filling fiber. If you're serious about weight loss, focus on a calorie deficit and strength training rather than looking for magic juices.

Weight loss requires a total lifestyle shift, not just one fruit juice. As someone managing high BP, I learned that reducing salt, walking daily, and regular doctor checkups are what actually keep you healthy. Pineapple is nice as a treat, but don't treat it as a weight loss medicine.
