Does nexplanon cause weight loss?

I've been struggling with my weight and recently got the Nexplanon implant. I'm hoping it might actually help me lose some weight, or at least not make me gain it. Does Nexplanon ever cause weight loss?

Nahi yaar, usually toh weight gain ke liye badnaam hai ye, par kuch logo ka weight loss bhi ho jata hai na. Hormones par depend karta hai sab. Agar weight bohot jaldi gir raha hai toh check karwa lena chahiye.

Our bodies respond in beautiful and mysterious ways to external changes. While weight loss is less common with this, just stay positive and feed your body nourishing food. Do consult your doctor if the loss feels too sudden or weak.

Weight loss on Nexplanon? God, I wish I was in that category! Most of us are here fighting bloating and sweet cravings. If you are losing weight without trying, enjoy the phase but maybe keep your doctor in the loop!

I lost weight because the mood swings and anxiety from the implant made me lose my appetite completely. It was a really tough emotional phase for me. If you are losing weight due to stress or nausea, please talk to someone.

Don't believe anyone online saying Nexplanon is a weight loss solution. Unexplained weight loss can be a sign of thyroid issues or other underlying metabolic changes. Get a proper checkup with your gynecologist to verify.

Actually, I lost a bit of water retention after the first month because my appetite changed. It's not a typical weight loss tool, but hormonal shifts can suppress cravings for some. Just make sure you are eating enough nutrients!
