Does medicare pay for weight loss drugs?

I'm looking into prescription weight loss drugs to help me manage my BMI. Before consulting a specialist, I want to know if health insurance plans in India generally pay for these types of weight loss drugs. It's a big decision financially.

I know how heartbreaking it is when you are trying so hard to get healthy and then realize the insurance won't cover the medicine you need. Unfortunately, standard plans don't pay for these weight loss drugs right now. It is really tough, but please don't lose hope and keep taking care of your mental peace.

I completely understand how stressful it is to worry about health costs and whether you can afford treatment. Sadly, standard insurance rules exclude weight loss drugs from coverage. It's totally okay to feel overwhelmed by this, but maybe discuss some lower-cost options with your doctor to ease your mind.

Please be very careful before buying any weight loss pills online just because insurance doesn't cover them. I tried some unprescribed supplements once and ended up with severe stomach issues and high heart rate. Always consult a proper doctor and stick to what they prescribe safely.

I was shocked to hear from my pharmacy that these weight loss injections are not covered at all by standard plans. Is everyone else also paying thousands out of pocket for this, or did you find some smart way to get it approved? I feel so stuck and stressed about the budget.

They don't cover weight loss drugs, but honestly, you might not even need them. A structured strength training routine combined with a high-protein diet works wonders over time. It takes patience, but building muscle and staying active is a great sustainable way to lose fat.
