Does magnesium glycinate help with weight loss?

I'm on a weight loss journey and heard that magnesium glycinate might help. I'm taking it already for stress, but I'm wondering if it actually contributes to losing weight. Does magnesium glycinate truly assist with weight loss?

I am looking to buy this for weight loss but I'm really nervous about trying new supplements. Has anyone here actually lost weight with magnesium glycinate? Please share if you had any side effects.

In my experience, weight loss happens when you connect your mind and breath through daily yoga. Magnesium glycinate can calm your nervous system, but it will not reduce fat on its own. Focus on clean eating and light daily stretching.

At my age, I have seen so many pill trends come and go, beta. True weight management comes from physical work and eating local, simple food in moderation. Don't worry too much about these fancy supplement bottles.

I once wasted months taking random vitamins hoping to lose my belly fat, ignoring my high blood sugar symptoms. By the time I went to a doctor, my diabetes was quite advanced. Please get a proper checkup first rather than self-treating.

With my PCOS, I tried magnesium glycinate to manage my stress levels, which are linked to weight gain. It helped me sleep better, but it didn't magically reduce my weight. Always consult your gynecologist before taking it.

Before spending 1000 rupees on a bottle of magnesium glycinate, spend 300 rupees on a basic thyroid and fasting glucose test. If those are fine, simple home food and daily evening walks are free and far more effective.

I have answered this for many group members. Magnesium glycinate is wonderful for muscle cramps and calming the mind. If your sleep improves, your metabolism works better, but don't expect it to act as a fat burner.
