Does lymphatic drainage massage help with weight loss?

My gym trainer suggested lymphatic drainage massage as an add-on to my weight loss efforts. I'm wondering if this massage technique truly contributes to weight reduction. Has anyone tried it for this purpose?

A lymphatic massage can help clear out excess fluid and toxins, but it won't reduce your body fat percentage. True weight loss comes from a balanced diet and regular exercise. Try including more fiber-rich foods in your meals instead of relying on massages.

Bhai, these expensive massages are mostly for city folks who have money to spend. Our elders always said that basic physical hard work and eating simple food at home is enough to keep the body fit and slim. Don't worry about these fancy things.

I totally get it, we are always looking for easier ways to feel lighter and reduce bloating. While this massage feels very soothing and reduces temporary water weight, it won't give you permanent fat loss. It's great for self-care though!

It only helps to reduce the swelling and water retention in the body. For real weight loss, a simple walk and portion control in meals is the best way. Take care.

Dealing with PCOS water retention is so frustrating, and I have tried these massages too. They do help to temporarily ease the heavy feeling in your legs and belly, but please don't expect it to solve the underlying hormonal weight issue. Consistent lifestyle changes are still key.

I tried a series of these sessions recently thinking it would help me shed a few kilos. Honestly, I did lose about a kilo of water weight initially, but it came right back within two days. It is strictly for reducing puffiness, not fat.
