Does low testosterone affect weight loss?

I've been trying hard to lose weight, doing diets and exercising regularly, but the progress is very slow. I read somewhere that low testosterone can make it harder for men to shed kilos. Is that true, does it affect weight loss efforts?

I have been stressing so much about this lately because my weight loss has completely stalled. I keep worrying that my testosterone levels are too low and that I will never get back in shape. If you feel this way too, maybe we should both just see an endocrinologist soon.

Low testosterone makes it really hard to build muscle, which in turn slows down your fat-burning capacity. If your doctor allows, try incorporating light weight training and 40 minutes of brisk walking daily. It really helps boost your metabolism naturally.

At my age, weight loss is already a slow process, and low testosterone definitely makes it a bit more challenging. But do not get discouraged, my friend. With patience, a simple diet, and a doctor's guidance, you can still maintain a very healthy weight.

Low testosterone often leads to higher body fat and lower muscle mass, making weight loss quite stubborn. I always tell people not to starve themselves, as that can crash your hormone levels further. Get a blood test done and consult your healthcare provider for a proper plan.

In my experience, when my T levels were low, losing weight felt like an uphill battle no matter how much I dieted. Once my doctor helped me address the hormonal imbalance, the weight started shifting much more easily. That was just my personal journey.

In our younger days, we relied on physical hard work and pure ghee to keep our strength and hormones balanced. While you must follow your doctor's advice for low hormones, having a cup of warm milk with a pinch of ashwagandha at night might gently support your health.
