Does lemon water help with weight loss?

I've been trying to lose weight for my wedding next year, and everyone suggests drinking lemon water. I've started doing it every morning. Does lemon water really help with weight loss, or is it more of a placebo effect?

While lemon water is low in calories, using it as a major weight loss strategy is not recommended. If you are experiencing sudden weight changes, it is always safest to get a complete blood profile and check with a physician first to rule out any underlying hormonal issues.

Lemon water is great to keep you hydrated and stop you from reaching for sugary juices! 🍋 But remember, it won't burn fat by itself—you still need to watch your meals and stay active. Keep smiling and keep moving!

Honestly, I drink lemon water only to feel less guilty after eating a big plate of chole bhature! It doesn't magically melt fat away. Weight loss only happens when we control our portion sizes and manage those late-night cravings.

Hamare yahan toh sab subah uth kar garam paani aur nimbu peete hain. It keeps the stomach light and digestion good, which is very helpful. But beta, to reduce weight, you also have to reduce sweet items and oily food from your kitchen.

Please be careful with drinking too much lemon water on an empty stomach. I did this for months to lose weight and ended up with severe acid reflux and stomach lining irritation. It is much safer to see a doctor or nutritionist instead of trying extreme home routines.

I consulted a clinical dietitian at Fortis Hospital about this last month. She clearly told me that lemon water has no active fat-burning properties; it just helps with hydration. You should ask your doctor or a qualified dietitian for a proper, structured meal plan.
