Does lemon water aid weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and everyone keeps telling me to drink lemon water first thing in the morning. Does lemon water actually aid in weight loss, or is it just about hydration and feeling refreshed?

Humare ghar mein toh subah-subah sabko nimbu paani peene ki aadat hai. Isse pet halka rehta hai aur dinbhar taja mehsus hota hai. Vajan ka toh pata nahi, par sharir tandroost zaroor rehta hai.

I drink plain lemon water without any sugar or honey to stay hydrated. For diabetics, it's a great low-calorie alternative to juices, but it doesn't directly cause weight loss. Keeping your blood sugar in control is what really helps.

I am not a doctor, but I have been drinking lemon water every morning for a year. It didn't make me lose weight until I actually started controlling my portion sizes and walking daily. It's just a good supporting habit.

My clinical nutritionist explained that lemon water does not melt fat. It only aids weight loss indirectly by keeping you hydrated and helping you replace high-calorie sugary beverages. Real results require a consistent calorie deficit.

Honestly, lemon water is just hyped up. I tried it for months and nothing happened to my weight. It only started dropping when I cut down on junk food and hit the gym regularly.
