Does lemon balm help with weight loss?

Been trying to lose weight since my wedding but it's been tough. My aunt told me to try lemon balm tea for weight loss. Is there any truth to this or is it just another home remedy?

Lemon balm is very good for digestion and calming the nerves before bed. However, if your weight gain is sudden or due to hormonal issues, it is always best to visit a doctor for a proper checkup.

I tried lemon balm tea for relaxation, and it really helped calm my mind. While it didn't directly cause weight loss, feeling less stressed made me eat much less junk food.

I drink lemon balm tea because it is quick to brew and helps me de-stress after long office hours. Don't buy it expecting dramatic weight loss, but it's a great substitute for high-calorie sugary beverages.

Lemon balm helps lower cortisol levels, which can indirectly prevent stress-induced fat storage. But you still need to hit your daily protein targets and stay in a calorie deficit for actual weight loss.

There is limited clinical evidence proving that lemon balm directly causes weight loss. It is safer to use it as a relaxing herbal tea while consulting your physician or dietitian for a structured weight loss plan.
