Does l-glutamine help with weight loss?

I've been struggling to lose weight despite eating healthy and exercising. A friend at the gym mentioned L-glutamine could aid in weight loss. Does L-glutamine help with weight loss, or is its primary benefit something else?

I heard l-glutamine helps curb sugar and carb cravings, which is why some people use it for weight loss. But honestly, as a foodie, no supplement can stop me when I see fresh momos! It might help with gut bloating thoda bahut, but don't expect it to magically melt fat.

Please don't ignore sudden or persistent weight issues by just trying random powders like glutamine. I once ignored my metabolic symptoms for a year, thinking supplements would fix it, and ended up with severe health complications. Please get a proper blood checkup and consult a doctor first.

Actually, l-glutamine is mostly for gut health and post-workout soreness, yaar. It won't directly make you lose weight unless your diet and gym routine are totally on point. Don't waste money on it just for weight loss, honestly.

Glutamine tubs cost around 1500 to 2000 rupees, which is quite expensive for something that doesn't directly burn fat. Instead, spend that budget on a basic thyroid and CBC blood test to see if there is any real deficiency causing weight gain. That is a much smarter health plan.

Hello! L-glutamine is actually amazing for muscle recovery and fixing a bloated gut, but it's not a direct fat burner. When your digestion gets better, you naturally feel lighter and more energetic to work out! So it definitely helps indirectly.
