Does konjac jelly help with weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and I saw an ad for Konjac jelly online, saying it helps with weight loss. I was wondering if anyone has tried it or if it's actually effective. Does Konjac jelly really help with weight loss?

Konjac jelly is basically glucomannan fiber which fills your stomach up with zero calories. It works temporarily to suppress your appetite, but it's not a real solution. If you don't fix your actual diet, you'll gain it all back.

Bro, I bought those expensive Korean konjac jellies to control my hostel midnight cravings. Honestly, they do keep you full for like an hour because of the fiber, but they taste super artificial. Normal cucumber or apple is cheaper and better.

As someone managing high blood pressure, I've realized weight loss only happens with a consistent low-sodium diet and daily walks. Don't rely on processed jellies from online shops. Get your routine checkups done and stick to real food.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding rare diet snacks like konjac jelly. It is just a low-calorie filler, nothing magical. Enjoy your normal meals in smaller portions and you'll do great!

Agree with others, it only keeps you full because of high water and fiber content. Drink two glasses of warm water before meals instead, it does the same thing for free.

In our times, we ate soaked sabja seeds or isabgol in water to keep the stomach full and clear. These modern packaged jellies might have chemical preservatives. Try natural fiber sources first, they are much safer for the body.

Actually, it’s just a fad, yaar. I tried it for two weeks and it just made me bloated because of all that fiber. Normal home food and portion control is what actually works in the long run.

It has almost zero calories, so it's a blessing when you want to chew on something sweet without ruining your diet. But honestly, it has zero nutritional value, so don't expect it to replace your real fruits.

It’s basically eating flavored water disguised as jelly! If you can trick your brain into thinking that is a real snack, you will definitely lose weight. Good luck with the mind games!

I totally get it, trying to lose weight while constantly feeling hungry is so difficult. Konjac jelly can help during those high-craving evening hours, but please don't use it to skip real, nourishing meals.
