Does kefir help weight loss?

My nutritionist suggested I start including kefir in my diet for gut health. I was wondering if it also has benefits for weight loss, as I'm trying to shed a few kilos?

I used to feel so overwhelmed trying all these new weight loss trends like Kefir and ended up feeling guilty when I didn't see results. It is completely okay to feel frustrated. Weight loss is a slow journey, so please be kind to yourself.

As a vegetarian, I find fermented foods like Kefir excellent for gut microbes. A healthy gut is linked to better metabolism and easier weight management. Just ensure you buy the low-fat version and don't add extra sugar or syrup to it.

Arey, my kids keep telling me to try Kefir and Kombucha, but my simple homemade buttermilk (chaas) works just fine for digestion! If you want to try it, go ahead, but don't expect it to melt away weight magically without some exercise.

When I consulted a senior clinical nutritionist at Fortis, they said probiotics like Kefir are good support for the gut, but they aren't a direct weight loss cure. You should ask your doctor or a qualified dietitian to make a customized diet plan for you.

Kefir is great for gut health, buddy, which definitely helps with digestion and metabolism. But don't stress too much about finding exotic things; even our regular curd is amazing for weight loss if you keep your diet clean.

I included Kefir in my diet last year. It really helped reduce my bloating and improved my digestion, which naturally made my weight loss journey smoother. My tip is to drink it in the morning, but make sure it is unsweetened.
