Does ibuprofen cause miscarriage in early pregnancy?

My friend just found out she's pregnant, and she had taken ibuprofen a few times in the very early stages for period pain, before she knew. She's very worried. Does ibuprofen cause miscarriage in early pregnancy?

When I was in my first trimester, the doctors at Apollo strictly told me to avoid ibuprofen completely. They said paracetamol is much safer if you have pain or fever, but you must ask your own gynecologist before taking anything. Please don't take risks during early pregnancy.

Listen, there is no need to panic if you took one by mistake, but yes, ibuprofen is generally avoided during pregnancy. It is always better to be safe and use safer alternatives. Just let your doctor know about it in your next visit so they can guide you properly.

Haan na, pregnancy me we have to be so careful with medicines. My doc also told me no ibuprofen during the first few months. Better safe than sorry, ho na? Please ask your doctor before taking any tablet.

I agree with everyone here. Avoid ibuprofen completely during pregnancy and consult your doctor for any body pain.

Hey, please don't stress too much, okay? Just stop taking the ibuprofen right away and switch to warm water sips if you are feeling uneasy. Call your doc tomorrow morning just to double-check, but don't let Google scare you tonight.

Medical research does suggest a link between NSAIDs like ibuprofen and an increased risk of miscarriage in the early stages. Because of this, obstetricians globally advise against its use. It is highly recommended to consult your healthcare provider for any prenatal pain management.

I completely understand how terrifying these doubts can be, especially in the early weeks when everything feels so fragile. I used to search every single ingredient online and panic. Take a deep breath, and just call your gynaecologist to be absolutely safe.
