Does going to bed hungry help with weight loss?

I'm trying everything to lose weight, and someone suggested going to bed hungry. Does this actually help with weight loss, or is it bad for your body?

Going to bed hungry only helps me stay awake till 2 AM planning a midnight raid on the fridge for leftovers! Honestly, it is a recipe for disaster because you just end up overeating the next morning. Better to have a small cup of warm milk or some cucumber and sleep peacefully.

Listen, starving yourself is not called dieting, okay? If you sleep on an empty stomach, your body's metabolism will actually slow down because it thinks there is a food shortage. Just finish your light dinner 2-3 hours before sleeping and you will lose weight the right way.

From what I see daily, skipping meals just leads to severe acidity and bad sleep quality, which actually hinders weight loss. Your body needs basic fuel even while repairing itself at night. Instead of hunger, focus on eating a high-protein, low-carb dinner that keeps you satisfied but light.

Please don't do this; I tried sleeping hungry for weeks and ended up with terrible stomach ulcers and a messed-up metabolism. It took me months of doctor visits and medication to cure my severe gastric issues. If you are struggling with weight, please consult a certified clinical nutritionist instead of starving.

Haan na, stomach growling makes it so difficult to get proper deep sleep. Weight loss is about overall calories in the day, not about suffering at night. Just have a small bowl of curd or some roasted chana if you feel hungry before bed, thoda body ko relief milega.

I tried the 'no dinner' rule for a month and honestly, my weight didn't budge much but I was incredibly irritable all day. Now I just eat a decent portion of dal and sabzi by 7:30 PM. I sleep much better and my weight has actually started dropping gradually.
