Does gelatin cause weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and have been looking into different supplements. Someone at the gym mentioned that gelatin helps with weight loss. Can it actually help?

Don't stress too much about these magic weight loss ingredients, yaara. Gelatin might keep you full for a bit because it has protein, but it is not going to melt fat overnight. Just focus on your regular home food and stay active!

Actually, I tried gelatin jellies last year thinking they would help me cut down on cravings. Honestly, it just made me feel a bit bloated and didn't really change my weight at all. Normal portion control and ghar ka khana worked much better for me.

Haha, if only eating jelly could make us thin! Unfortunately, gelatin isn't a shortcut to losing weight. If it were that easy, I would have been a fitness model by now with all the jelly desserts I eat.

Gelatin is just protein, so it can help with satiety, which is why some people think it helps with weight loss. But honestly, it is not a fat burner. You still need to manage your overall daily calorie intake and keep lifting weights or doing cardio.

Beta, these new powders and jellies won't do much for weight. In our times, we just walked a lot and ate fresh seasonal rotis and sabzi. Keep your meals simple and do some physical work, your body will stay healthy and fine.

There is some talk about gelatin aiding satiety because of its protein structure, but there is no solid scientific consensus that it directly causes weight loss. It is always best to consult a clinical nutritionist or your family doctor before starting any specific diet pattern.

Please be careful with self-designed diets. I once tried random food hacks to lose weight, ignored the constant fatigue I was feeling, and ended up with severe nutritional deficiencies. Go to a doctor and get your blood work done first to see what your body actually needs.

If you are struggling to lose weight despite eating normally, please get your thyroid levels checked. I kept trying tricks like gelatin and high protein diets for months, only to realize my thyroid was the main culprit. Proper medication from a doctor is the only thing that worked.
