Does drinking water with lemon help with weight loss?

I've seen so many posts on Instagram about starting the day with lemon water for weight loss. I'm trying to lose a few kilos, so I started doing it. Does drinking water with lemon actually help with weight loss, or is it just a detox trend?

In the morning, lukewarm water with a squeeze of fresh lemon cleanses the system and improves digestion. But weight loss happens when you also practice gentle yoga and control your portion sizes. Water is just a gentle helper to kickstart your day.

I have just started trying this from last week because my friends suggested it. Does it really burn fat, or does it just help with bloating? I hope it doesn't cause any acidity issues if I drink it daily on an empty stomach.

With my PCOS, I tried almost every weight loss hack, including warm lemon water every morning. It helped with my digestion a bit, but didn't affect my weight until I fixed my insulin resistance under a doctor's care. Everyone's body is different, so don't expect miracles from just one ingredient.

Honestly, lemon water isn't a magic fat burner. It is great for hydration and vitamin C, but real weight loss only comes from a consistent calorie deficit and regular workout. Keep drinking it if you like the taste, but prioritize your gym sessions and protein intake.

Arrey, don't stress too much about these morning detox drinks! Lemon water is great to wake up your system, but if you don't like the taste, normal water is also fine. Just focus on sleeping well and moving your body a bit every day, chill!

Haha, I wish it was that easy! I drink lemon water in the morning and then eat buttery parathas in the afternoon, which totally defeats the purpose. If you can manage your food cravings, then lemon water is a nice refreshing low-calorie drink to have instead of sodas.

Having lost 15 kgs over two years, I can tell you that lemon water is just a good habit to keep you hydrated. My tip is to drink it with a straw so the lemon acid doesn't damage your tooth enamel. Pair it with a high-protein diet for actual weight loss results.

I tried drinking this every morning for two weeks, but my throat started feeling a bit sore and I felt very acidic. Did anyone else face this issue with lemon water? I got a bit worried and stopped it completely, maybe my stomach is too sensitive.

In our family, we have used lukewarm water with lemon and a drop of pure honey for generations to keep the stomach clean. It is a very safe ghar ka nuskha. But remember to eat simple home-cooked meals and go for regular walks to stay fit in the long run.

I recently lost about 8 kgs after struggling with weight for years. I drank lemon water daily, but actually, the biggest change was cutting out sugar and junk food. The lemon water just replaced my morning tea, which saved me a lot of empty calories.

Look, simple clear talk—lemon water won't melt your belly fat overnight. It is just water with some vitamin C. Stop looking for shortcuts, eat less oily food, walk 5 kilometers daily, and you will see the weight drop automatically.

My teenage daughter wanted to try this to lose weight fast before her college fest. I told her that lemon water is fine for hydration, but she needs proper home-cooked meals with dal, rice, and veggies. As parents, we must ensure our kids don't skip meals for such trends.
