Does drinking coffee affect weight loss?

I'm trying to lose weight, and I've heard conflicting things about coffee. I usually have 2-3 cups a day to stay energetic. Does drinking coffee actually affect my weight loss efforts, either positively or negatively?

Listen, drinking black coffee can actually help boost your metabolism slightly and give you energy for your daily activities. But if you are adding loads of milk, sugar, and cream to it, then it will definitely slow down your weight loss. Keep it simple and don't stress too much.

Don't believe fitness influencers who claim coffee is a miracle fat burner. While caffeine can slightly suppress appetite, real weight loss only happens with a proper calorie deficit. You should consult a qualified dietitian rather than relying on coffee trends.

I track my daily macros and use coffee as a pre-workout drink. The caffeine boost helps me burn more active calories during my workouts. Just make sure to log the sugar and milk in your fitness app, as those hidden calories can easily stall your weight loss.

If coffee burned fat directly, I would have vanished by now with the amount of cups I drink at work! Plain black coffee is fine, but those fancy iced lattes are basically liquid cakes. Choose your poison wisely.

Haan na, black coffee does help with metabolism, but we Indians love our milk and sugar tea/coffee. If you can drink it plain, it's very good for weight loss. Otherwise, that extra sugar will slowly add up without us realizing.
