Does diet coke cause cavities?

I'm trying to cut down on sugar but still enjoy fizzy drinks, so I often opt for Diet Coke. My dentist told me to be careful about sugary drinks causing cavities, but what about diet versions? Does diet coke cause cavities too?

I have been noticing some sensitivity in my front teeth lately and I drink diet coke almost every afternoon. Even though it has no sugar, isn't it still highly acidic? Has anyone else experienced tooth sensitivity or enamel damage from drinking it?

Haan bilkul, sugar nahi hai toh kya hua, acid toh hota hi hai na. This acid can slowly weaken your tooth enamel over time. It's always a good idea to rinse your mouth with water right after drinking it.

Yes, it can! Diet coke has phosphoric and citric acids which are not great for our pearly whites. I started using a straw to protect my teeth and it works like a charm. Try it out!

Our teeth and bones are precious gifts that we must preserve carefully. Highly processed acidic drinks can slowly erode our teeth's natural strength. Drink fresh water or tender coconut water instead to keep your body healthy and clean.

Bro, my dentist literally scolded me last week for this. I thought diet coke was safe because of zero sugar, but the acid in it still eats away the enamel. He told me to stop sipping it slowly over hours and just drink it fast if I have to.
