Does creatine help with weight loss?

I'm trying to lose fat and tone my body through regular workouts. My fitness coach mentioned that creatine can indirectly assist with fat loss by increasing muscle. Does creatine help with weight loss in this way?

Creatine is not a weight loss supplement. In fact, it typically causes some water retention, which might show up as weight gain on the scale. For safe weight loss, it is always best to consult a dietitian and get a general health checkup first.

Creatine won't directly cause weight loss, but it helps build muscle, which can improve your metabolism. As someone with diabetes, I focus on a low-sugar, high-fiber diet for weight management. Always monitor how supplements affect your overall metabolic health.

Don't believe gym influencers claiming creatine will burn your fat. It is mainly used for building muscle strength and power. If you want a proper weight loss plan, verify with a qualified nutritionist or doctor instead of relying on internet trends.

In my experience, creatine actually made the scale go up by 1.5 kgs initially due to water weight. However, it gave me more energy to lift weights, which eventually helped me tone up. But it definitely didn't cause direct weight loss for me.

I really struggled emotionally when I started creatine because I wanted to lose weight, but the scale kept going up. It was so hard to accept that it was just water weight. If you are trying to lose weight, focus on how your clothes fit, not just the scale.

Creatine is not for weight loss and can cause mild water retention. If you have high blood pressure, any sudden fluid changes can be important, so lifestyle modifications and regular doctor checkups are key before starting such supplements.

Creatine is for strength, not weight loss. If fat loss is your goal, you need a caloric deficit and consistent cardio along with weight training. Creatine will just help you maintain muscle mass while you lose that fat.

I am quite new to fitness and a bit shy to ask at the gym. I thought creatine was for losing fat, but everyone says it adds water weight. Does that mean I should avoid it if I only want to look slim? Please guide me.

I panicked when I started taking creatine and saw my weight increase instead of decrease. But my fitness coach reassured me that it's just water being stored in the muscles. Once I kept training, I lost fat and my body looked much tighter.

I overthink everything and spent hours researching if creatine would ruin my weight loss progress. It does make you hold water, which is scary, but it actually helps you build muscle to burn fat in the long run. Just stay positive!

Hey there! Creatine doesn't directly burn fat, but it gives you super powers in the gym to burn more calories! 🏋️‍♂️ Don't worry about the scale showing a slight increase, it's just water. Keep going!

Honestly, I'm too sleep-deprived to worry about complex supplement science. I tried creatine for energy, but it didn't do anything for my weight loss. If you want to lose weight, getting proper sleep and eating less junk is the real battle!
