Does coffee inhibit weight loss?

I'm trying to get in shape for my wedding next year, but I'm struggling with losing those last few kilos. I heard from a fitness influencer that coffee might inhibit weight loss. Is this true, and should I cut it out completely?

Plain black coffee is very cheap and actually helps suppress appetite. Don't waste money on expensive 'weight loss coffee' blends or fat burners. If your weight is stuck, spend that money on a basic thyroid and CBC blood test instead to see the real issue.

Don't stress so much, dear. Normal black or light milk coffee without sugar won't stop you from losing weight. Just make sure you aren't drinking it late in the evening because good sleep is very important for weight loss.

Be kind to your body and keep a peaceful mind. Coffee in moderation is perfectly fine and will not block your progress. Stay positive, eat fresh food, and your health goals will naturally align.

When I consulted the chief dietician at Aster Medcity, she said moderate black coffee actually boosts metabolism slightly. However, she told me clearly that adding sugar and whole milk is what stops progress. Ask your doctor or nutritionist about your daily caffeine limit.

I used to worry about this too! But honestly, switching to black coffee or just adding a splash of skimmed milk worked perfectly for me. It keeps my cravings away in the afternoon and hasn't stopped my weight loss at all.
