Does black coffee aid weight loss?

I'm trying to cut down on extra calories and lose some weight. I heard that drinking black coffee can actually help with weight loss. Is there any truth to this, or is it just a myth?

I started having two cups of black coffee daily to lose weight, but it is making my heart race and giving me slight acidity. Does anyone else get this jittery feeling? I really want to know if it's worth continuing despite the discomfort.

Black coffee is a great pre-workout drink because the caffeine boost helps you train harder, which burns more calories. But remember, it is not a magic fat burner by itself. You still need to be in a calorie deficit and lift weights to see real fat loss results.

My college-going son started chugging mugs of black coffee thinking it would burn his belly fat. I had to sit him down and explain that skipping breakfast and relying on coffee is only going to ruin his digestion. Now he eats a proper high-protein breakfast and has a small cup of black coffee later.

Black coffee can give your metabolism a small, temporary kick and help with water retention. However, I always tell people in this forum that it cannot replace a balanced diet and regular physical activity. Use it as a helper, not the main solution.

It definitely helps suppress hunger for a little while, which prevents unnecessary snacking between meals. But make sure you don't drink it late in the afternoon as it can ruin your sleep cycle. Good sleep is just as important for metabolism as your diet.

Please be careful with drinking too much black coffee on an empty stomach. I used to abuse caffeine to skip meals for weight loss, which eventually led to severe gastritis and ulcer issues that took months to cure. Get a proper diet plan from a professional instead of trying extreme shortcuts.
