Does biote help with weight loss?

A friend of mine who lives abroad told me about Biote and its benefits for hormone balance and weight management. I'm curious if it's something that could help me. Does Biote help with weight loss?

Biote is basically hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). While optimizing your thyroid or estrogen levels can help reset your baseline metabolism, it isn't a direct weight loss tool. I track my daily calories and active burns on my Garmin, and even with hormone balance, you still need to maintain a calorie deficit to lose fat.

These hormone treatments are very complex and can have many effects on the body. For weight, I always believe in simple home-cooked food, less sugar, and regular walking. But since this is a medical hormone therapy, please do not take any steps without a thorough examination by a qualified doctor.

It can help if your weight gain is strictly due to a hormonal imbalance, but it's not a weight loss shortcut. Ask your doctor.

Hormones play a huge role in how our body stores weight, so balancing them can definitely make a difference if you are struggling. Just be patient with the process and let your doctor guide you on the right dosage. Take care of yourself.

Biote involves pellet therapy which is a serious hormonal intervention. Do not read random blogs or success stories online and decide to do it. You must get comprehensive blood tests done and discuss with an experienced endocrinologist to see if you even have a deficiency.

My aunt did this therapy because her menopause was making her crave sweets constantly and gain weight. It did help balance her energy levels so she could control her late-night snacking better. But she still had to cut down on her favorite samosas and paranthas to actually see the weight go down!
