Do you feel bloated in early pregnancy?

Recently finding out I'm pregnant, it's very early days. I've been feeling quite bloated and gassy, almost like before my period. Is this a common symptom to feel bloated in the very early stages of pregnancy?

While bloating is quite common due to hormonal changes, please keep a close eye on it. If the bloating comes with severe abdominal pain or any spotting, you must visit your doctor immediately to rule out any complications. Safety is always first.

Haan na, bloating toh bahut normal hai early pregnancy mein. Hormones ke wajah se pura pet fula fula lagta hai, don't worry. Thoda jeera paani pijiye ya walk pe jaiye, aaram milega nakki.

My cousin went through this recently and she was complaining about it constantly. Apparently, those early hormones just slow down your whole digestive system, making you feel super bloated even after eating very little.

Yes, feeling bloated is very common in early pregnancy because of progesterone. Please drink lots of water and eat small, frequent meals to feel more comfortable.

Yes, my daughter struggled with severe bloating during her first trimester last year. I used to make her light buttermilk with a pinch of hing and ginger, which really helped soothe her stomach. Try to avoid heavy, gas-producing foods like cabbage or rajma.

Oh god, yes! In my first few weeks, I felt like a human balloon and couldn't fit into any of my regular jeans. It is incredibly annoying, but completely normal. Just wear loose clothes and try to get some sleep whenever you can!
