Do women care about hair loss?

I've started noticing some hair thinning myself, and it's making me self-conscious. I was just wondering generally if women typically pay attention or care if a man is losing his hair.

Yes, we care a lot because hair is a big part of our identity. I always use a mix of amla and curry leaves oil to keep my roots strong. But if the hair fall is very sudden and heavy, please consult a dermatologist or doctor to check for thyroid or iron deficiencies.

Of course they do, just as much as men do, if not more. Society puts a lot of pressure on women's appearance, so thinning hair is a major stressor. It's high time we normalize discussing female hair loss openly without any taboo.

We care immensely, but sometimes we just ignore it thinking it is normal seasonal changes. I ignored my heavy hair loss for a year until I found out I had severe PCOS and low vitamin D. Please don't wait like I did; get a blood test done if you notice excessive thinning.

Yes, we definitely care a lot about it. It can affect a woman's confidence and self-esteem quite deeply.

Absolutely, women care deeply about hair health, it is a huge concern for them. On my health tracker app, I see so many discussions about tracking nutrition and sleep specifically to combat stress-related hair fall. It is a very common issue.

Honestly, yes, we care so much! When I started losing hair due to stress last year, I used to feel so conscious every time I brushed it. We just try different hairstyles or serums to manage it, but it definitely weighs on our minds.
