Do sweat suits help with weight loss?

My friend suggested I buy a sweat suit to lose weight faster while exercising. Do these sweat suits really help with weight loss, or is it just water weight?

I used to run wearing a heavy sweat suit in peak summer thinking it would burn belly fat faster. All I got was severe dehydration and muscle cramps, and the lost weight came back within hours of drinking water. Trust me, just wear comfortable clothes and focus on your diet deficit.

Bro, sweat suits are just a scam to make you lose water weight quickly, like wrestlers do before a match. You are not losing actual fat, just sweating out water. Save your money and just hit the gym in normal shorts.

I tried wearing a sweat suit during my home workouts for a month. It made me feel very exhausted and dizzy, and I didn't see any real difference in my body fat percentage. I stopped using it because it felt very unsafe.

I am just starting my fitness journey and saw some influencers wearing these suits. Do they actually help clean the skin or anything, or are they completely useless? I don't want to buy something that might harm me.

At 51, if I wear a sweat suit in this humidity, I won't lose weight, I will just lose my mind! It is better to eat one less paratha and do a gentle walk than to cook yourself inside a plastic suit.

I totally get it, when we are desperate to lose weight, we want to try everything that promises fast results. But please be careful, as these suits can cause your body temperature to rise dangerously high. Real fat loss takes time and patience through a healthy lifestyle.
