Do pregnant women sleep a lot?

My bhabhi is pregnant and she sleeps almost half the day away, especially during the first few months. Is this typical for pregnant women? Do pregnant women sleep a lot, or should I be concerned about her being so tired?

During my first trimester, I was so incredibly exhausted that I would sleep for almost 10 hours at night and still need a long afternoon nap. My body just felt completely drained. It got a bit better in the second trimester, but everyone's experience is different.

Oh yes, they definitely do! 😴 Growing a tiny human is hard work, so the body needs all the energy it can get. Let her sleep as much as she wants, she totally deserves the rest! 💕

In our family, we are always told that an expecting mother should rest whenever she feels tired. My doctor also explained that the high progesterone levels in the early months make you very drowsy. It is very natural, so please let her rest.

Yes, sleepiness is very common, especially in the first few months. Drinking a warm cup of milk before bed can help them sleep more soundly. However, if she feels extremely weak or dizzy even after sleeping a lot, please consult your doctor to check her hemoglobin levels.

Haan na, early pregnancy fatigue is something else entirely! I used to sleep like a baby myself. It is just the body's way of handling all the changes, so don't worry, let her rest as much as she needs.

In my experience, both my wife and later my daughter slept a great deal during their pregnancies. The body is building a new life, which is a monumental task. It is nature's way of conserving energy, so there is absolutely nothing to worry about.

It is like they have a superpower to sleep through anything! It is completely fine and actually a good thing. Just make sure you don't wake her up unless you want to face some serious pregnancy mood swings!

My wife would eat a hearty meal of parathas and then immediately pass out for a three-hour afternoon nap! The digestion process combined with pregnancy hormones is a solid recipe for sleep. Just keep the snacks ready for when she wakes up.

Honestly, don't stress too much about her sleeping so much. Her body is basically running a marathon 24/7 to create a baby. Just make her comfortable, get her some good snacks, and let her take all the naps she wants!

Don't worry, it is completely normal for them to sleep a lot. Her body is going through massive hormonal and physical changes, which takes a huge toll. Just make sure she is eating well, staying hydrated, and getting all the quiet rest she needs.

Yes, they can sleep at any given time and place! My wife could fall asleep mid-conversation during her pregnancy. Just let her sleep now, because once the baby is born, neither of you will get any sleep anyway!

Yeah yaar, they actually sleep a crazy amount in the first trimester. I used to feel so guilty for sleeping all day, but my body just wouldn't listen. It is totally normal, so just let her hibernate in peace!
